Academic Curriculum:

The School prepares students for the Matriculation Examination (Std. X) and for the Higher Secondary Examination (Std. XII) under the State Board.  It has Stds. VI to XII. It can accommodate 350 students. Each class (Stds. VI to X) has a maximum of 25 students in each of the two sections.

Language Laboratory:

The School has a very fine language laboratory with a twenty-plus-one system, which is the one and only available resource in our area. There is a separate instructor for the same. Course materials are provided by "Sky Communication". Student are taught to learn the usage of language through play-way, child-centered and interactive methods. Apart from this we have the linguaphone system also.

                The School has Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories that are well equipped, ventilated and furnished with suitably designed tables, racks, shelves, display boards, dark rooms, store rooms and staff rooms.

Dining Hall

   

Computer education:

The School has a well established Computer Centre in a spacious, air-conditioned room, with scientifically designed  computer tables and computer  executive chairs that give the desired, sophisticated look. It has resourceful, qualified computer professionals to train the students. There are e-mail and web facilities also. 

Important School Functions:
         
The School Annual Day, Sports Day, Freshers' Day, Children's Day, Teachers' Day, Independence Day, Republic Day, Ifthar Party, etc., are the important School functions celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm by students and staff.

Rules and Regulations:
             
Students and their parents are expected to go through the following Rules and regulations carefully, as School and Hostel activities are governed by these.

Hostel Rules:
        
a) Students should keep their beds, cupboards, books, etc., neat, clean and in proper order.
           b) Students are not allowed to have expensive things like gold rings or any other ornaments.
               They should not keep money with them. Pocket money should be deposited with the
               Warden or Tutor.
           c) A built-in cupboard with a lockable shelf is provided. This has a Godrej lock and 3 keys.
               If a key is lost, the student who has lost it will have to pay for its replacement.
           d) Parents should not send money to their wards through Money Orders. They
               can send money only through bank drafts.
           e) Students should not have suitcases larger than 28'' X 22'' X 19''(Length 28'',
               Width 22'' & Height 19'') so that these can be placed in the dormitory cupboards.
             

Library Rules:         
           a) Students should maintain silence.
           b) They should not move from seat to seat.
           c) Any book borrowed from the library should be returned within a fortnight. Otherwise  
               a fine will be levied.
           d) If a book is damaged or lost, the student involved will have to make good the loss or pay
               for the damage.
           e) Students should not borrow library books from each other.           

Leave of Absence:
        
a) Students are allowed to attend the weddings of brothers/ sisters only.
           b) In an emergency, such as serious illness or death of a close relative, students are
               given permission by the Principal.
           c) Students should not be absent without obtaining prior permission from the Principal
           d) They should report at School after the holidays on the appointed day.
           e) If a student is sick or injured, the leave letter must be signed by the Staff Nurse and the
               Tutor-in- Charge.

Withdrawal:
              
A Transfer Certificate will be issued only after the parent/ guardian has paid all the dues to the School and has applied for it in writing one week beforehand.

Clothing:
         
 Each student is required to bring the following items of personal clothing and miscellaneous
articles when admitted:

Boys:
      
 Trousers (Pants) 3 Nos., Shirts 3 Nos., Banians (vests) 6 Nos., Shorts 4 Nos., Socks (Grey & White) 3 pairs each, White Shirts (Long-sleeved) 2 Nos., T shirts or sports wear 2 Nos., White trousers  (Pants) 2 Nos., Underwear 4 Nos., Towels 2 Nos., Handkerchiefs 6 Nos., a pair of black leather shoes with lace and a pair of white canvas shoes.            

Girls:
     
Colour casual wear (Churidhar, Midi, etc.) 4 sets, White Uniform 1 set, Nightdress 4 sets, Inner Wear 6 sets, Bath Towel 3 Nos., Winter Wear 1 No., Handkerchiefs 6 Nos., Socks (grey & white) 3 pairs each and a Pair of White Canvas Shoes.

Miscellaneous:
         
Pens, Pencils, Colour Pencils, Water Colours, Painting Box, School Bag, Geometry Box, Rain coat, Umbrella, a Pair of slippers, Tooth Brush, Tooth Paste, Hair Oil, Comb, Nail Clipper, Torchlight and a Suitcase with Lock.

Dining Hall Rules:
       
a) Students should follow the mess timings and observe table manners.
          b) Food, Paper or any other item should not be thrown around.
          c) Students should not shout to one another but should converse in a low voice.
          d) Carrying foodstuffs out of the dining hall is prohibited.
          e) Kitchen and Storeroom are out of bounds. Only those on dining-hall duty can enter the
              kitchen.
    If a student causes damage to School or hostel property, including laboratory and other
   equipment, he/she will have to pay for repairs or replacement.
